Re: Steering wheel removal Mk3
Janspeeds are too noisy on a street car IMO.... we only used to fit them back in the day because they were cheap compared to the factory exhaust systems but a double S is easier to live with on a road car. The Janspeed systems do up the power but the trade off with the noise makes them unappealing....

Re: Fan belt slipping viscous fan suspect.
Is your car a Series 3? I think the 16" Kenlowe fan will probably only fit on the deeper late-model radiator. I have a 14" on my Series 3 and there's definitely room for an extra two inches... lol  Ask the missus why that matters. With that said, the 14" has been perfectly adeq...

Re: Fan belt slipping viscous fan suspect.
these are decent fan controllers.... http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/adjustable-fan-controller-thermostat and you need a 16" fan ideally The MR2 fans are good but require either 2 controllers or a controller that will run 2 fans......on a N/A car, I'd go for a Kenlowe type setup..... nic...

Re: Steering idler arm bushes
Hi, welcome to the forum, good to hear you've bought a 1st gen and are already enjoying it. Forget about genuine Mazda idler arm bushes, they don't last 5 minutes and you will then have vague steering again. Poly bushes are the way to go......they are durable and are basically fit and forget...... ...
