Re: Gus

Went to the classic car show at Weston park today... not a great show but the weather was lovely and it was a nice sunny day for us to take Gus out for a spin. I couldn't stop all day so parked in the public parking area, not on the show field but Gus drew a couple of admiring comments like " that's...

White series 3 for sale on Ebay at £6500.

Looks pretty average with rusty doors probably worth half the asking price even with today's prices

You’re right Kev, worth half the asking price .... it's known to this forum... it sold for £1600 2 years ago...

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings

The first few shipments of series 1’s to the UK were that green colour (apparently the Brits hated it and they didn’t sell well)... it wasn’t available after the S1’s. That bit of green on this car looks like it’s been sprayed or painted on more recently... the metallic pea green was a bit lighter I...

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings

It looks like the base car was a stock UK market white series 2 before someone vandalised it by fitting that bodykit and doing a partial retrim with Noddy Holders trousers

Re: K27 PLY - Gus

Took Gus to DFTR Automotive this morning, the go to place for retro and classics in the Midlands, to get a compression test done on my rotary engine. It's the original engine, 57,000 miles, never thrashed and has had oil changes every 3000 miles from new so I was curious to see how this reflected in...

This is almost certainly A 200 BAU, series 2. Pretty sure the mods were done by Craig Dodd, midlands way.
More like Ken Dodd :D

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings

incredibly even in these days of basket case 1st gens fetching good money this car isn't even worth the £800 asking price.... where's the value in it?
