Re: s2 limited slip differential no preload?
Looks like. The space for the clutch packages is a bit shorter.

Re: s2 limited slip differential no preload?
There are 4 plates at each side. I found out the differential is an early type from somewhere between 1970 and 1978 meant for racing. It was never sold in street cars by Mazda and it never had conical springs.

Re: s2 limited slip differential no preload?
There are no conical springs inside my differential. I've found out that mine is a very early version and mazda really didn't use springs in them. It also has only flat friction disks without any oil groves in them. Now I've got an other problem: I can't find anything about that differential in the ...

Shouldn't ...

Re: Elfords big brother
It was built with the water injection and both nozzles were there right from the beginning. The fuel pressure is the same as it always was. If it was any higher the carburetor would get flooded anyways. BUUUUT I've read the turbo conversion manual from 1982 again and it seems like the water methanol...

Re: Idling problems with a JDM 12AT engine
It could be that the thottle position sensor is out of adjustment or simply worn because of the high age or it might be a vacuum leak. I don't think the idle control valve is the cause because it looks like it is working but it's trying to adjust to something which shouldn't be there.

Habs gelesen, danke. th: Over the last week I tried to learn how and when the distributor advances the timing and I think I finally got it. What I'm going to do now is to open up the distributor and weld a small part of the shaft slots of the weights for the mechanical advance shut. This will stop t...
