Anyone who had this small problem before? The x-ring is somewhat loose on te shaft and a small amount of oil is leaking out of there. Are these X-rings available somewhere?

Again, as always it is a matter of taking your time. First sanded it down with a soft pad P320 and a good wipe with silicone remover. Tried to apply the Plasti-dip, but that was not working well. It must be that the combination switch is faulty. Looking at the wiring diagram, on the switch there is a section mentioned,dimmer or passing. "Dimmer" does'nt work for high beam. i will test it tomorrow. A nice tour planned for today with the 929 hardtop.

Trying to sort out some electrical gremlins. When i pull the switch, the lights go on, but they don't pop up. Other strange issue: When i put on the driving lights, all seems normal. Switching to high beam, lights go out but stay up.Light horn does work.

I don't think it has to do with the servo or vacuum. More likely there is an internal leak in the master cylinder. Had a similar problem last year with my 929. Pedal travel was inconsistent. Cylinders are easy to come by and cheap.

Now you mentioned the studding, that was the way i did it. I also tried the bolts from the inside...no go. Sorry i got you on the wrong track there.
