Re: James' Race car build
looking really fantastic and you will get there with the carb...........Similar fiddling here with a four cylinder old motorbike took and age due to exhaust and intake mods.

Longest trip yet for her.....We were there, only FB I think. Still some shakedown issues to resolve including the marginal cooling issue.

Re: KIMI 3 - 1984 Series 3
very recently fitted Hel hoses all round ours, I seem to recall the fronts slide out the slot but had no problem. As the the rear, yes all were tight but I cut it all off and made new metal pipes too seeing as ours has been sat for 20 years or so. The car has not been driven (see other posts!) as ye...

teething problems for our recommission project
We hope to mot our car very shortly and gave it a sneaky test run recently. It starts great hot or cold, idles smooth and with a clean looking exhaust. Compression tests done and seem decent for a long laid up engine. Sat running it runs well, picks up well and sounds good. Idling the fan cuts in an...

Re: Newbies on Surrey Hants borders UK
Thanks for great help so far, I have haynes manual as of today and a 79 year factory one.
The electric fan is a way to go then.
The car is an 83 series 2, correct all round I think though it has a single tailpipe?? thought they were twin.
It has correct red stripe seats too............

Newbies on Surrey Hants borders UK
Hi, my daughter wanted an RX7 and we have gone joint on an 83. We are plenty used to classic cars but a rotary is a new venture for me though her boyfriend does run an Fd. So we have an 83 car, which has been long term stored other than being mot's 2 years ago and doing 2 miles since! It is virtuall...
