Re: Rexanne!

Must be nice to be in that position A7RXY, to have that history with a vehicle. Best I can do is my 1972 Suzuki T500 which I've now had for just over 4 years, and I think might actually be a keeper! Beta300 would be fun! I had a Gas Gas EC200 for a while, which ended up running most of it's time as ...

Re: Rexanne!

Hi Steve, hope all is well, just wondering what you are driving these days, do you still have the Lancia. Dibs Evening :) Yes all well here thanks. The Lancia was a long time ago! I just counted and I've owned 16 cars and motorbikes since I sold the Lancia :silent: :P I did get the Lancia all finis...

Re: Rexanne!

So the latest development is that the hydrocarbon emissions have crept up, so something I'll need to look into. (Hydrocarbons were 688 at the last MoT, but over 2,300 yesterday!) This means there is a fair amount of unburnt fuel leaving the engine and going into the exhaust. Really not sure where t...

Re: Rexanne!

the mazda 1000 hasn't sold... I offered him my white RX7 for swaps! Shame, that would have been a good fair swap I'd have thought! The owner was definitely dreaming with his valuation of the 1000. Especially as I know he bought it in 2012 for £1k, so basically thats FB prices, maybe worth £2-2.5k n...

Re: Rexanne!

I'm still alive. I come and lurk here once in a while, see how everyone projects are getting on :) Not so much as I used to though, as James mentions, I'm currently immersed in a 70s Suzuki t500 project, and it was the joy of two stroke bikes that lead me to rotary in the first place. I did try to b...

Re: Rexanne!

Nice to see the old girl looking well 8-) Keep an eye on the filters on the ITBs. I had some piper cross foam filters fitted and it managed to suck so hard that it torn the top off the filter. I found it suck down on the throttle plate, which is why I'd swapped back to the classics tights as air fil...

Re: Hello, from London!

Welcome aboard. 8-) You soon get used to the steering box, after a few weeks you'll forget it's anything other than normal :) The series 1 and 2 cars have a slightly better steering boxes than the series 3 cars. Also it's well worth putting some time into adjusting the steering box and make sure all...
