Mazda Fans Weekend, Mazda HQ (Dartford): Sat/Sun 20-21 May

Post by Casey »

As some of you will know Mazdarotaryclub held a "Mazda Day" for two years with all types of Mazda's attending, but now after virtually a year of negotiations there will be a new name and a new venue for this event.

The "Mazda Fans" Weekend to be held at Mazda UK headquarters across the weekend of the 20-21 May 2017, with Cars and fans attending being invited to attend either a morning or an afternoon session each day.

As with Mazdarotaryclubs Rotorstock events which were held across many years, the event will not be club specific, allowing a cross section of older, newer, standard and modified selection of Mazda vehicles and enthusiasts to attend.

The event will feature the following:
  • The Mazda Heritage fleet
    Mazda related Competitions and prizes
The Mazda range of new cars will be on hand for unaccompanied test-drives.
Food and drink will be available.
    Parking onsite
Most of all great Mazda hospitality
Plus, first and foremost, Mazda fans sharing their Mazda passion through their own Mazda vehicles.
There are limited spaces on each session for this event so places will be available on a first come served basis.

If you attend any other Mazda related clubs or forums please feel free to re-post this, as this event is open to all Mazda enthusiasts.

If you would like to attend please send and email to team@mazdarotaryclub.com , giving your full name, contact email address and Saturday/Sunday preference (if any).

There is no charge to attend :D

Quick bump for this event and to say it looks like the Sunday pm session is a firm favourite with those who have already requested to attend with their rotary. So, if you want to meet up with other rotoheads and see as many Mazda rotaries as possible, Sunday pm is the session to opt for :D

I sent an email on the 15th, no replay jet, so not sure if I'll be going on the Sunday pm.

No need to worry Dibs. The emails are being forwarded to Mazda UK's events team so it'll take a while for them to send out the formal invitations.

Nik, it's only a convenient postbox to collect details. Details are then simply forwarded to Mazda UK for them to send out the invites. As I understand it, Mazda UK had planned to set up a website for people to request a place directly with them, but the website was running behind schedule so they asked various clubs at short notice to help out on their behalf. I've no idea why they couldn't have given us a Mazda UK email address to use :?: I could have used my personal email address, but that didn't seem appropriate ;)
