Beaulieu: Simply Japanese, Sunday 26 July 2020

Post by Casey »

For anyone who didn't go last year, here is a link to the topic for that event in 2019:
viewtopic.php?f=24&t=4283

Details of this year's event here, on the official Beaulieu website:
https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-japanese/

The RX-8 Owners Club are again extending an invite to RX7fb members to come along and join them on their stand. I plan to take along KIMI 3, all being well, so who's up for this again?

Further details are on the RX-8 OC forum, including how to get your tickets (£10.50 adults, £5.25 child age 2-17 inc - which is about HALF the normal entry price to this place!)
https://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/v ... 01&t=80841

We had a superb turnout last year, I hope we can do as well this year

Covid-19 has meant this event is currently under review, but still on the calendar.

Ian65 has kindly posted up here the current status of all shows mentioned on the forum:

viewtopic.php?f=24&t=4497&p=46126&hilit=yakushi#p46126

I'll keep people posted on any changes.

I sincerely hope this doesn't get cancelled, otherwise it's going to be a dire year for car events, but the health of everyone concerned must come first.

Simply Japanese is going ahead, but the rules imposed by the organisers at Beaulieu are so onerous that the RX-8 OC have decided, quite sensibly IMHO, not to attend this year.

No club stands are permitted and there is no guarantee that cars can be parked together.

If anyone has already paid, their money will be refunded by the RX-8 OC.

:( :(

There is nothing to stop individuals buying a ticket direct and attending the event..............
