Hi, all. new member here.
Hi all just about to take my beloved 1st Gen off the road after using driving it as my daily car for 2 years. Unfortunately i badly need a fuel tank. Apparently i have a series 5 fb 1st Gen. anyone know if the part no on the forum is right for this car? I already got it wrong once...still i knew a man who needed a series 1 1st gen tank so i found it a home. Really want to keep my gem going apart from tank it is amazing!!!!

Hi,
welcome to the forum. The 1st gens went from series 1 to series 3 so you definitely don't have a series 5. The part number for the fuel tank on here is for a series 3. If you post some details of your car and maybe a picture, we'll tell you which one you need and probably where to get one from.

Hi & a big welcome.
Yep as Ian says, 1st gens were S1 to S3 so perhaps just mis-keyed when typing.
Bit of a common problem with the 1st gens this but if the remainder of it is solid you have done well.
Photos would be really gr8.

Hi Christine and welcome.
I think you won a prize with the car at Rotorstock a couple of years back? Good stuff.
