Bought some wheels by accident! Shoulda known better than to venture onto eBay full of cider

Lol, bubble arches might have to be employed at some point. I'm trying to resist, can't believe how far I've ended up from my original "leave it the hell alone" mission statement Might not be needed though, these are 14x6 inches on 40 offset which I think is the same as the stock S3 wheels? Which means I ought to be able to get 15 or 20mm spacers in and not have them stick out too far? Any fitment gurus want to confirm or deny this? (translation; "help!")

14x6 is the standard size

The thickness of the adaptor should be taken away from the offset - adaptors are likely to be 20/25mm so you will end up with ET20 or ET15.

Worst case, you end up with ET15, the front wheels will end up in the same outer position as mine on my 7 inch wide rims. At your current ride height I wouldnt expect it to rub, but maybe a tiny tweak to the lip might be in order.

My advice though - Whilst I do like th design of the wheel, but with such a common PCD as 4x114, I would forget the extra hassle and cost of the adaptors to end up with standard size wheels. I would flog the wheels on ebay and make your money back + proably more as a load of cars run 4x100. Adaptors are going to be £120, plus £60 for the wheels and you are at £180 already and get some 7's all round.

You'd think 4x114 would be everywhere but I've been watching for months and haven't seen any come up that I like I absolutely will not buy Rotas or any of those ripoff makes, so doesn't leave many options. Are you seriously suggesting that £180 for a set of wheels is a lot? Man, you an Audi driver, too

Seriously though, I take the point. But where's the fun in sense? If they fit, it's a mad cheap set of properly light JDM wheels. If they don't, I can still sell them on and I'll have a set of spacers that'll broaden the range of wheels I can look at by quite some margin. If they do fit, a few quid to refurbish and I'll have another unique set of wheels just as I want them Not sure I see the downside

I like them but I agree with Ramon that you'd be better getting different wheels than going mad with spacers.
