Not spotted that black car in Hayes before. (The Registration Date doesn't match anything I've got). It must be a 'B' plate S3 if its a UK car.

If anyone goes viewing I'd appreciate the Reg Number.

I went and saw it this morning and ended up buying it... Hope I didn't end up paying to much, but of a roll of the dice really as who knows why it's not running. The reason I bought it was because the body is pretty straight, just some rust bubbles coming through in places but nothing too bad as far as I could tell (along with a bit of hope....) The wheels on it aren't included, he does have a set of the originals which are going on but that was badly explained in the ebay listing! The reg is B634XHV - if anyone has any info on it please let me know before I hand the cash over when picking it up on Sunday! Cheers

a new one to me too....... hope it turns out to be a good one....... you've done the right thing buying on body condition.... mechanical bits are easily changed.... even if the engine is shagged you can get a decent second hand one for around £100 - £200 and a chimpanzee could change one in a day so nothing much to worry about there.
Start a build thread off when you get the car and we can follow your progress and help / hinder you to get it going.

This feller from a month or so back.
Was for sale as a standard silver S3 in High Peak in 2008. Someone out there is doing major Resto.......without our knowledge...... :x
