I thought I would use them Ian since they came with the kit. Am trying to cure my RPS (Rattling Pad Syndrome) :lol: The kit is supposed to come with

6x Retaining Clips
2x spring loaded retaining clips
4x shims
2x spring wires

Now those two spring loaded ones are the ones that I'm missing and most helpfully, the kit I was sent has 8 retaining clips and no spring loaded ones :roll: So, I'm hoping that the spring wires will keep things rattle free instead.

Make sure that you use plenty of copper grease on the shims.

Yes, but I would rub it down to leave just a film. In case it transfers to the pads.
