just a quick hello and introduction
name is glen, been around mazda rotaries for awhile, lived in rotor heaven most my life, auckland, new zealand, cant get enough of them tbh
have a few first generation rx7's.... and second.... and third... and an rx8 :D .......
have a series 2 with a 13B 6-port, but thinking of putting the 12A back in, also a couple of series 3
one with a series 6 engine and an rx8 13B 6-port engine/g-box too, projects...long term lol
so will update when i get a chance


well mazda rotary intro, i was 13, my brothers mate had a rx3 s1 coupe 10A engine, took us for a spin, was hooked, so smooth and went very well

then bought my first rx when i was 19, rx2 s1 capella coupe 12A

then couple months later bought my first used engine lol water seals gone, had to park on a hill so could bump start lol

my mazda & rotary list

- 626, 2.0L, petrol, automatic - work hack

- RX7, S5, 13BT, red, sold

- 1300, 4dr, wagon, piston - completely rotten, needs reshelled

- RX7, S3, 12A, green - fitted rx8 13B 6-port with IDA and Distributor and rx8 6 speed g/box

- RX7, S5, 13BT, white - ended fitting engine to another car and stripping for parts, sold

- RX7, S6, 13BTT, black - fitted S5 single turbo, sunday car, blew engine, slowly getting engine ready to repair

- RX8, S1, 13B 6Port, Plurble - my rx8 baby, 3" big bore exhaust, 20" wheels, factory front air dam, side deflectors, rear deflectors, other engine mods etc

- RX8, S1, 13B 4Port, grey - bought to rebuild engine and sell .......... yeah sometime lol

- RX7, S4, 13B 6Port, white - done few mods to engine, exhaust etc, sold

- RX8, S1, 13B 6Port, grey - turning into a track car ..........

- Demio, white, 1300cc big block, scrapped

yeah have pics etc of cars, also im lazy on putting them up,
i'll do a better post with some pics and details some sunday when im free and not asleep on the couch lol

hobbawobba, shore boy, lol, im from south auckland where real men live lol,
used to go over the shore on thursday nights ? for a cruise and stir lol, to many cops over there though, near always end up with a ticket or chase

there turning into even longer projects as time goes bye lol
will see what happens, its too cold for me now, im going into hibernation for next 6 months/winter/cold weather lol
need to go back to nz in jan/feb for another rotary pick me up lol last one was 2010

Pfft nothing wrong with the shore! Haha. Not sure about the cruises. I moved to England 4 years ago when i was 19, so didn't get to go to many aye. My bro probably went to them back in the days though :lol:

north shore wasnt a massive place to cruise where we went, but was good one now and then as upper class lol, but only one way in/out so wasnt great for getting .... lol
manukau city shopping centre was my local thursday night, then queen st and town and drags on friday/saturday
then mission bay, eastern beach and maraetai on a sunday was very good :D
ohhh the ole days lol
