good to meet you yesterday too Jesse..... I really like the Retro Rides gathering, there's always a good collection of classic cars, even the car park was full of classics.
Great to meet up with you too James and see your very tidy black series 3, glad you got it unflooded the night before so you could bring it to the show..... nice car mate, hope you bring it again so we can see what mods you do to it............... It was also great to meet Mark and see his stunning Elford Turbo....... that must be one of the cleanest 1st gens in the country Mark, hope I can get mine up to that standard, it's a gorgeous car................ and at long last, I got to drool over Cliff museum piece Elford Turbo..... gorgeous also....... just how I'd imagined it to be. Time warp condition.
Nice to meet up with the usual guys as well.... although Tool, James and Nik nearly got chucked out 60 seconds after they arrived for taking a short cut through the barriers..... Mr jobsworth, the marshall was very vexed :D ...... especially when Nik rocked up sporting the Moses look and told the guy he'd been clean shaven when he'd joined the queue to get in -haha-
Proper good day out..... did anyone get a video of that FC going up the hill?

 I was just following James

Great show overall, I thought. Not sure I like the place as much as Prescott, and the queue getting in was sheer ridiculous, but well worth the eight-hour round trip once we made it in. Just wish I'd been able to make it in the FB... certainly would have saved meself about fifty quid in petrol, lol. Good to meet up with everyone, though I seem to have failed epicly at actually introducing myself properly and actually chatting to everyone, so sorry for my unpardonable ignorance  It seemed to be one of those days where I went round in every decreasing circles and never quite got on with what I meant to

Sorry for bringing our club into disrepute by cheeking up the marshal, though. He also seemed to think I was a bit weird when he made Jo buy a ticket and asked if she was with me. "nope," I had to reply. "I just picked her up loitering around in a carpark this morning". Which, oddly, was the only true thing I said to him

Without repeating everybody else thanks to all who managed to get their, it was good to put faces to names and firm up friendships and make new. To those I didn't get around to meet - sorry. Congratulations to James and what a show he put on - my favourite of the day.
Now more photos ..........
