When I buy LSD centres, the seller opens the LSD for me, cleans and photographs everything and sends me the images so I know exactly what I'm getting before I buy it.

Shiny thrust washer





I stripped it, cleaned it, measured everything and there was virtually no wear. I've installed an oversize thrust washer to tighten everything up inside and put it back together.

These are getting more expensive to source, so this is the last 26 spline unit at this price. If I decide to do them again, the price will have to go up.

£300 installed in your open diff casing or I can post as is.

Well,

The 24 spline diff is now happily sitting in the rear axle of my Elford.

It's a little noisier than the standard diff, but I expected that. I have race spec diff oil which is why and also it kicks in with a bang !

Got the car nicely sideways on a damp road and the diff did the job brilliantly, smoothing out the car whilst on opposite lock and full throttle.

So thanks to Mr Tool for taking the effort to get this diff here. He delivered totally.

The car feels very different now, even better to drive. An LSD should have been fitted to the UK cars, especially the Elford.
