Saw this today.
The front of the rear arches are rusty on both sides, and have been badly repaired at some stage. both chassis rails looked on there way out also. The interior is wet and covered in mildew.
Waste of time. I did not even hear it start as the guy walked off after two minutes??
I see it is up to £300 which is generous.

That's still £5,700 GBP. That'd still make it a very expensive FB. Worth it? It's not like it's unused like the Scottish optimist's one, it's only done 10k less miles than mine. Very very nice though, I'm not comparing the overall condition cos I'd lose lol

I actually thought it would have gone for a lot more than that judging from the photography BUT was in some doubt when I looked more closely at the engine compartment rear upper bulkhead (around where the brake pipes etc cross from offside to nearside) - looked to me as a clean up job not completed correctly.

Scuttle panel looks worse to me than stated - shame really as from afar it does appear to be nice but as we all know these little motors can make a habit of hiding their little rust demons. Not worth 4 figures in my book
