Just for interest sake, here are my previous rides. Not all are FB's...
Dad purchased this for mum. It was a series 2 auto! I borrowed it any time i could. I fell in love!!! This was also purchased for Mum. 1988 series 4 finale I was given the option of having the car or some cash!!!! you can guess what I did!
I eventually put a Series 5 13B turbo and LSD from a Japanese import into this car.
Sold it and it was written off a short time later!!!! The guy rebuilt it and still has it some 14 years later! This was my first series 3. It was an auto with red interior. It had some minor damage that we fixed. I had this for some time. It was very thirsty!!!!!! but a nice cruiser

Next up my last Rx7's until two odd months ago.
As I said, it has been about 10 years in between drinks!
This was my series 3 with a brown interior. Purchased as a stock standard 12A 5 speed!! Was a nice neat original car. Then I found this!!!! 13B turbo Rear end hit!

Again, I know this is not an FB, however I would like to show off my dads Alfa Romeo. This will give you an understanding of his abilities and hopefully some idea of what we are expecting to get our of our current project.
This was a 25 year project, his attention to detail is fantastic...
It is a 1965 Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint. All the boys in Europe should be farmilular with this.
Enjoy
Found in a barn in South Australia. The end result Interior

I forgot one of my other Fc's.
This was a Jap import 13B turbo. Nice clean car! Thanks again guys, I hope you enjoyed all of my pictures and dribble.
I will be sure to try and respond quicker and put up more progress picks as they happen.
Cheers,
David

Hi All,
Finally got to doing some work last week.
We removed the cowel panel from both cars and discovered more rust on the passengers side......
Ow well, just more unpicking and replacing them with donor panels
Some pictures for your amusement..

So this is the additional rust we came upon....
It looks like the car has been in an accident on this side. Poor repairs have added to the devastation!
That being said, I would imagine there would be quiet a number of FB's out there that will be suffering with rust under the cowel panel that you just would not even know is developing.
I have noticed some rust appearing on the donor shell that I would suspect would be a common thing. Just to get to it is hard...
