Re: Keith's red S3
So I must start the next chapter with a thankyou to 'Wires' for posting about an engine he had seen for sale on Car and Classic.

I contacted the seller, a great guy called Glen, he had the engine built to fit in a porsche 356 replica but life got in the way and a house move was forcing him to have a clear out. I arranged to go and pick the engine up from Cradley Heath and when I got there he had a second unknown 13b and numerous spares that he threw in for free

Re: Keith's red S3
The rebuilt lump had been looked after very well, being soaked in oil and turned over periodically.

I got the engine home and started to have a better look at it, to my surprise it turned out to be bridge ported

Re: Keith's red S3
No flywheel just an auto counterweight so an aftermarket lightweight flywheel will be needed (let me know if youve got one
 )

Shows big primary bridge ports. Secondary are also bridge ported?
Modified oilpressure regulator?
