Hi Forum,
We run a small business overhauling and modifying mechanical injection systems, mostly race car and historic stuff....we had a customer from Australia send us his injection pump from his RX7 PP (yes, a factory fit part). Apparently Mazda worked with Kugelfischer (German company, spin off from FAG bearings) to develop an injection system for racing in Asia, Australia and maybe North America. Likely this is pretty rare, our customer advised Mazda only built 20 engines.
Would anyone on this forum know if any of these special peripheral port engines reached and raced in Europe?
Thanks
Mike

Re: Kugelfischer
Are you talking about the 13G engine?
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

Re: Kugelfischer
Not the 13G engine.
This was a four cylinder piston pump.....it took us a while to work out the rotor/induction/pumping events.......
This was likely a 13B Peripheral Port engine, the customer did share the factory original pump calibration data sheets.
