another little addition arrived today... making more wiring fun for my mates hahaha.... figured with the money put into this car I may as well do everything I can to protect it from asshats... bringing the old girl into the 21st century.. picked up some lock actuators as well...

no remote start will be used, the main reason is for locking, unlocking, alarm etc, this one also winds windows up and down but I may have to look into the relay mod I saw someone mention on here in another thread...... but this is mostly for theft deterrent... I want to be able to take it out for a spin and park it while I have a meal with the wife or kids, or hang with some buddies with the car out of sight.. even take it to work every now and then.. the work parking lot is 3 blocks away so this should give me some warning if someone tries anything... hopefully...

we worked on locating the mounting spots for my outside gauges, and I also welded in my wideband bung...

Image yes those are jumper cables.. had to extend the ground as my power cord to the machine is only about 12feet long.. the bench is 30ft from power and the welder ground is about 6ft long

trying to figure out the harness etc.... not sure if I still need the factory ecu at all seeing as none of the engine connectors from the stock gslse plug into the rew or are needed... not sure if the ecu runs anything inside the car ad it plugs into some connectors inside... but I am running the Haltech SPrint RE which takes care of injectors and pretty much everything else...

I also got my material which I plan on covering my factory sunroof lining with...

nice work... always a bit risky cutting out bits of loom.... good to get rid of the stuff you don't need though.

as far as I can tell that whole section and the n304 ecu isnt needed anymore.. I dotn plan to cut per se as much as not install unless i read a section is needed... ie to complete the circuit for some reason?? as the entire harness joins from the drivers side runs out front to horns and lights then down the pass side with the injector and emissions stuff.. well that engine is no longer there and everything in that section goes nowhere from what I can tell...

do a search for DreaminRotary on youtube and most forums.. he has done the t11 swap and wire tuck etc.. he has a link on his google drive with all details what to keep, what to throw etc... way beyond me.. haha he is doing the wire strip on mine and another buddy is wiring in all the power/stereo etc... I suck at wiring...

if you start at the first post you will get the history and build sequence... with help of some good buddies YES... it was near mint 12yrs ago when I bought it for $400... sat in a shed at a landfill for 11yrs roughly till I got around to doing what I wanted.. hoping to have it done this summer... a lot of machining and stuff I did myself.. my own BBK, rear suspension stuff etc... its all in the storyline ;)
