"REAL Elford Turbo" ..... as opposed to what, a fake Elford Turbo? Surely they are either an Elford Turbo or they're not?richrx wrote: ↑Wed Oct 03, 2018 8:05 pm This one is new to me. Prices are getting crazier by the day.

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings
Just to say, that 1st Gen RX7 (XLJ 818X) - I am the person who bought it and hopefully will have it reliably back on the road sometime soon . It needs loads of work, but would love to get in touch with the former owner to hear why he sold it, any known issues and some history behind it.

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings
Hi Justin. I think you mean XLJ 181X.
It was in Wigan at the end of 2015. Then it moved to Bradford where some restoration took place. And a colour change here?
Then it was in Towcester (Hayward Rotary)?
Now with you in sunny Dorset.
If you enter the reg in the search box on here you will find a few posts about it.
That's what I've got.
Dave

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings
Looks like it has lots of potential, worth getting a thread with details of what's been done and plans etc... Looks goodRX7Mazdaman wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 9:23 pm Just to say, that 1st Gen RX7 (XLJ 818X) - I am the person who bought it and hopefully will have it reliably back on the road sometime soon . Yeah, sorry I get numbers/letters mixed up a bit. Will get some photos of the car through her progression back onto the road. Including the bad before and after stuff.

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings
Here is a great looking gen 3 example in my favourite colour blue.
At £9995 it is pricey
