Let's all pray for no repeat of the freak weather we had last year!

The organisers at Beaulieu normaĺly request each club try to roll up together to ease the job of guiding us to our stand position. It's therefore the custom for everyone to try and meet up locally and convoy in together, which is cool.

I'll post up details of the convoy rendezvous point and time nearer the date. It will most likely be at the local Tesco car park.

Pete, I was thinking of timeline parking earlier today. I'll suggest it to the RX8OC organiser, Chris, and see if he's game to try it

MEETING UP AND CONVOY ARRANGEMENTS

PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR TICKET AND STAND PASS!

Note tickets can be purchased on the day (for extra passengers, etc), price £12 adult, £6 child.

The organisers at Beaulieu have stated:

"Clubs are requested to arrive at the same time in order to allow our stewards to park your members faster. Please note that club areas will only be reserved until 10am, after this time the area will be released to other participants. Individual club members arriving after 10am are not guaranteed to be able to join their booked club area."

Entrance gates open at 8.30am.

Therefore, please meet at a Tescos Dibden Superstore just off the A326 (Just after Applemore Hill) from 7.45am ready to leave 8.15am sharp and convoy in together to get to the car park holding area at Beaulieu by 08:30

I spoke to Chris Holmes (the RX-8OC organiser, along with me too it would now seem ) about this and we agreed it would be a great idea to park everyone's cars in model order

A little difficult, as we have no idea of the shape or size of the stand area we will have until we arrive. However, we'll try to organise those arriving at the convoy meeting area to leave in some sort of model order, which might help when we arrive. But it might be like herding cats......your patience on the day will be appreciated

I think it would be a great way to show the evolution of Mazda rotaries to the passing public. OK, may not have a full set of models, but an excellent cross section!

Some bad news though The organisers won't permit us to have stoves on our stand, so no bacon butties for breakfast .

We'll have a large Gazebo though, so are going to try and arrange for hot drinks, plus a selection of "finger food" and cold drinks to be available. Home made scones, with jam and cream have been promised
