Well I should be getting my fuel pump for my 85 GS this weekend! Pretty excited as I haven't started or driven her since I brought her home. I just hope the carb doesn't need to be tuned as I have no idea how to tune a carb lol. If it does maybe you guys can help out?

good luck Mike, let's hope it fires up straight away. Are you still running the standard Nikki 4 barrel carb? They are actually pretty reliable and usually only cause problems if someones messed about with them previously..... usually people who don't know enough about them.... a little knowledge is a dangerous thing!

Thanks and yeah it's the Nikki. But idk if I can get the pump now as my check was not what I thought I would make . But if I cab find one cheaper than $150 I should be able to get it.

yeah Mike, if you're running the 12A engine with the Nikki carb it'll drop straight on. There were only the 2 variant s of fb engine, the carb'd 12A and the fuel injected 13B fitted to the GSL-SE only.
Ebay sellers often get their dates wrong. As long as your car has the 12A with the standard Nikki carb, this pump will work for you.
