Yeah sorry, HVLP means high volume low pressure - the gravity feed type like you thought. If you plan to do any more painting it's worth the investment in my opinion at least. Much less overspray/waste and easier to clean as well. Either way though you got nice results, so you can't complain about that haha.
Yeah thanks for the tip, I'm following the AaronCake writeup fairly closely, however I did go with a MS3/MS3X setup so there basically no mods needed to make it run a Rotary (no 2nd Vr circuit, or anything special to run a PWM idle air valve etc) I'm also using Tunerstuido (I assume you are too??) and his writeup is based on the older Megatune so it's been a bit of a chore to make sure I have all the settings right. So far all my bench tests have gone well, I'll be wiring it into the car in the next few weeks so we'll see how that goes lol.
