Nice 7 man, I much prefer the guards without the side repeaters, not sure how I am going to get rid of mine - such an ugly solution to the problem (check out UK models to see what I mean)
Nice 2 aswell! Thats a helluva labour of love, i've seen that on other forums before - hope you get time to sort it though, should be sweet when its done!
Gotta love a Herschel - my favourite colour

I love that coupe......I have a few pics off of the net of your car on my PC that I use as inspiration for my build Your car is what made me decide to run without rear quarter reflectors as it looks so good!!

Thanks mate. Yeah, that's Euro spec. Doesn't have reflectors in the guards front or rear. Doesn't have sealed beam headlights.
Stock as a rock as Mazda intended.
What motor are you putting in it?

Once again, thanks for the welcome guys!
As for engine, I have an RX4 vintage 13B extended Bridgeport for it. Also have a modified Nikki carb. Obviously not an original build up, but at least old school. Gearbox is 12A turbo, std diff.
If the car was fairly original when I bought it, I probably would have stuck with a "proper" resto, but have gone my own path as it had been messed with prior. I have also converted the front from series 1 square headlight to series 2 dual round lights using a series 2 radiator support.

Good choice going to twin round headlights, too. I know it's close to heresy, but I think they looks o much better than the rectangular ones. Less....errrrm....
