Oh, I see. So it would be nice to get long primaries, but I just read about a sound like a lawnmower with long primaries... Do you know anything about it?
In the end, I will have to take, what I can get, but I am definitely looking for some more power - keeping my 12A.

Try this link for my RB long primary system:

Or type DSTRBU into YouTube for a pulsing RX2.

				Unfortunately the link doesn't work.
But I found several RX7 with RacingBeat exhaust systems on youtube - but I think, none of them is stock engined with long primaries...

				Servus Gernot,
mit original Motor 83 kw hatte ich 100 kw RWP 7000 U/min 4. Gang 200km/h gemessen beim Boschdienst. Beste Anlage welche du für Geld bekommen kannst.
Hohe Lebensdauer, geiler Sound, höchste Leistung und das seit 23 Jahren.

LG
Thomas
In english: the long primaris will work good.

				Hey Thomas,

Lg, Gernot
@ all:
sry for talking German a few words, Thomas just told about his experiences with the long primaries on dyno. So I decided, what I want.

Now I just have to find an exhaust system for a good price...

Wow, I'm really impressed! My engine has been running about 111.000km now, so that's comparable.

				Street Port Exhaust System
79-85 12A *
Our Racing Beat-designed, "Long Primary" Street Port Complete RX-7 Exhaust System is designed for any 1979-85 RX-7 with a 12A street-ported engine. Designed specifically to optimize the performance benefit of a ported rotary engine, this RX-7 exhaust system will provide the maximum power output possible from an aftermarket RX-7 exhaust system. While louder than the stock system, the dual resonated center section offers maximum exhaust gas flow and scavenging while reducing sound output to a modest level.
Offered as a packaged set, this kit consists of a Road Race Header, the Street Port Center Section, and a high flow Power Pulse Main muffler.
The Long Primary system typically adds 5% or more horsepower over a standard Short Primary system on a street ported engine, especially at higher RPMs. This system can also be used on non-ported engines with good results. It is strictly bolt-on, with no welding required. These complete "bolt-on" systems come complete with all required mounting hardware and gaskets. Since this is intended for racing applications, there is no provision for an oxygen sensor on this system.

Thanks again for trying to give a link, but it still doesn't work. Never mind!
