Door mirrors sold & picked up.

James is a nice guy, loves his fb.

I think he got it for a G8 price, looks very smart & he has some TWR alloys to put on it too.

Did S2's come with 1 or 2 door mirrors, his s2 only has one door mirror?

ta stu..

I seem to remember that they only had an electric mirror on the drivers side... Cliff was looking for a 2 way mirror control last year.... I think the wiring was already there to convert to 2 electric mirrors

There is wiring going into the passenger door,so hopefully he can connect the mirror easily enough.

Funny i've never noticed S2's only have 1 mirror, maybe because most owners have fitted another one already.

he'll need to swap out the 1 way mirror control switch and fit a 2 way. Just plug and play I think... but Cliff will tell us.

Well that's the mirrors collected. Good excuse for a drive.
And for answering my many questions, thanks Stuart (syebba).
See you soon.

Yeh, only 1 mirror on S2.

Cliff very kindly sent a passenger mirror free to John Odd in York who died before he could fit it. I didn't see it on the car when RPM bought it, nor could I see it in John's garage. Didn't like to give Mrs Odd an interrogation about it.

Anybody got a view on whether I could/should try these?.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180727740684

I was parked next to an Mk3 MX5 yesterday and compared mountings - I think they would fit.

Which only leaves whether the adjuster would work.... and whether it would look OK....
