Hey Dibs
You should make it along to the Dartford Rotary Meet or even Chelmsford. Would be good to get some more old skool stuff along.
Would be good to hook up sometime and check out your motor.

Ok Guys
I know this is a bit of a thread resurrection but hey.

I have not been on here in a long time, not really felt the need to torture myself until now.
Today I tool delivery of not 1 but 2 RX7 FB's they are both 'A' reg and Casey has reliably informed me they are of the series 2 flavour.

They are both in need of some restoration however the seller (a friend of a friend) informs me they run when he put them in storage 5 years back. One still has a tax disc from 2009 in the window.

I am really not sure how I will get on with getting them running again as there has been a lot of changes since I was here last. With the growth of My company Essex Rotary And our new workshop going up this spring/summer it's set of be a busy year ahead. Still it gives me a chance to learn some new skills on some even older RX7's

Still I am really stoked to get hold of the car missing from my collection right now.

Do you guys have a register for them on here and would you be able to trade any info with the registration?

Looking forward to spending a little time here.

Aston

Hi Aston,
There's just shy of 700 UK & Eire Reg Nos on the Forum Database; most have some history/data.
That's Runners, Probable Runners, Exported Outside UK, Probable Scrappers & Known Scrapped.....
all totalled = 700
It's as up-to-date as the internet allows......(this forum, ebay, Gumtree etc)..

I would be pleased to tell you what general info there is on your cars if you give me the Reg Nos.
(Always being careful though to protect other people's privacy with any info given out - it would be nice to stick up a full list here on the net of people's 1st Gen cars, past and present, but that runs contrary to Data Protection).

Dave

Lol no problem, am new here si don't know if you guys prefer doing this stuff privately or now.

I guess it gives you a chance to add them to the register too.

Registrations are
A111 SUC and A321 KKN

Both pretty special as. Am hoping they are 1983 motors the year I was born.

The Chelmsford meet if held on the last Friday of each month (it as started by the RX8 owners Club members but any rotary is welcome, we have turned up in my FC Turbo II, AND FD's before now) I even know of a certain yellow RX4 that occasionally shows up.

It's the Grange Pub on the Boreham Interchange just off the A12.
I will post more info in the meets section.
