Well, I am slowly building a S5 street port NA motor. So I've been through this same process recently.

What you going to be running? Carb? Fuel Injection?

I've got a 48 IDA and a 50 IDA available. A 48 will be fine on a street port on the road though.
I've got high comp 9.7:1 rotors going in mine, so it should make good power.
I'll start a thread on my sloooooow build.

No secrets really. It's all documented on the internet or in books.
Never seen anyone else hand lap though. Not sure if that's good or bad lol.
