I got out of work early so I was able to take like, 2 day time pics, after some sanding progress was done. After my class I sanded some more and removed the brake booster. Tomorrow I plan to finish sanding the top portion of the car, remove the rest of the harness and lines and maybe getting the chrome shit off the bottom of my car. Pics will show what I'm talking about.

This is the chrome crap I'm talking about! So far the best way I have found to remove it is to heat up a small section with a heat gun and then pull on it/repeat.

I am running out of room!!! I have fenders and liners in my engine bay!!!

I finished the main sanding of both rear quarters a few hours later, it was too dark to get a good pic. I really don't feel like taking it down to metal beings underneath the red is the original black and body filler.
Image

This is why you choose a properly fitting wheel!!!!! This is at full lock.
Image

Sanded and only chrome crap remains.

You can almost see my reflection! lol

Brake booster removed. Let me tell you how much of a pain it is to remove the booster in such a confined space!

I pulled these out of the 13b I think the timing belt broke

JK! I was just scrolling through some old pics on my photo bucket :D

I was thinking those 16s could have been a half inch wider, but now I see they needed about 10 mm less positive offset instead.
But good progress.

Thank you! It isn't because it's LHD, I couldn't open the door all the way and the door panel is off. There is a little tab on the door that will cut the crap out of you if you aren't careful and it is rusted on, so I could not remove it. I had to move carefully and try not to cut my side lol.

I haven't looked into what offsets work yet, but I was thinking about 15x9 in the rear and 15x8 up front with a wide tire. maybe 225 or wider. I want to stick with 15's for the cheap tires...well cheaper than 16 and 17" wheels. And of course now I can't find the thread I saw where someone was running 17x10 and 17x9. lol Oh well I still have a bit of time before I really need to think about wheels and tires.

If mine was actually mine, I'd be doing fender flares and wide tires instead of 195/55R15s. I think I could like 245/35R17x9s front and rear. Maybe if I'm still an enthusiast when mine does become actually mine...

If you did 17x9 what offset would you run. I did a quick search a bit ago and I heard et0 is okay for the rear. Maybe 15x9 front and rear with +15 up front and 0 in the rear.

Thank you 8-) . It doesn't rain or snow where I live so there is almost no rust and everything stays clean for the most part. Just a lot of dust. The car only have 120,000 miles, so in my opinion it's still a baby lol. Most of the bushings do need to be replaced though.

Right now I'm in the u.s. phoenix, Arizona. It's kind if miserable lol. It's still 90 degrees here and no humidity. At least when it is humid, a bit if wind will cool you off.
