the Haynes manual is based on a usUS market spec car I think.... my black 79 series 1 definitely had an oil pressure light... when I first went to test drive it, the oil light was on all the time the engine was running..... I got the seller to change the sender before I handed my money over which he did and it fixed the light.
It must be a different market thing.
