Re: Tpm180x
Although I'm not keen on the MX5 swap into a 7 as it seems a bit pointless in my opinion.. I'd still like to see a build thread aye!
At least the shell is being saved. Have fun with it

Re: Tpm180x
I think you will lose the whole essence of the RX7, the Rotary engine is what makes it unique.
Rotary engines are a lot less likely to suffer catastrophic failure than a piston engine which is why they were liked so much in the aero industry as they tend to give plenty of notice when starting to fail & get you home.
All the Ro80s that had 12as fitted hold their value whereas the V4s etc lost all their value
That is my take on it but as long as the body stays intact you can always revert back
Best of luck with it anyway & will be interested in a build thread.

hi m8 @ least turbo it to get double the power to make it worth while!Kevralpina wrote:well that did the trick I bought tpm because I like the early rx7 but that engine no if I hadn't got it the car would be scrap and yes I like 80s cars as I also have a Montrose coupe again with mx5 power and again saved from the crusher (the conversion transformed the car ) and as the rx7 will be a regular user it makes sense but each one to their own thanks
