Awesome man!
It's in Saitama, so a bit far from where I am but I drive there once in a while... Sucks I didn't know about it a bit earlier, as I was in the area just 3 weeks ago. I'm in Aichi prefecture myself.

Just thought I would add this one I took yesterday with my winter wheels...

Was supposed to go do a frozen lake gymkhana in Nagano, but the event got canceled at the very last minute due to the weather being way too hot (19 degrees celcius during the day and night temperature not even dropping below 0)
700km driven for pretty much nothing appart from a hot spa at my hotel the night before but well... shit like this happens unfortunatly :)

Oh well, a good excuse for a drive.
It is looking good.
I have just noticed that you have the Euro spec door mirrors. That cannot have been a common thing in Japan.

Yeah I also have no way of openning my door from outside on the passenger side... No door handle on the driver side either. Now THAT is not common lol

Haha.

Um now this leads on to the next question . . . .

How do you get in / lock your door.

Or do you never leave your car unattended in public? Some thing a lot of us would admit to.

Well, I live in Japan, so locking my doors is not really something I do in the first place. I almost never lock my car and it parks on a parking spot 300m from my home. There are advantages in living in the safest country on earth :)... A friend of mine owns a restoration garage and parks most of his cars outside, in front of it, with the keys in the ignition and doors opened. "Easier for him not lose the keys" lol. Some of those cars include a R5 Turbo 2, a 1st gen Mazda Familia or an Audi Ur-Quattro.
As for my door, if I lock it, I can only open it on the driver side. Not possible to open it from outside on the passenger side, even if the door is unlocked. As you can see on this picture, there is a little push button just over the keylock. Press it and the door opens. Most people don't know what to do though as it looks like a normal door locker and they don't even try to push it... Then they realize that it's a door locker located OUTSIDE the car and figure out something is wrong lol
