The carburettor I'm using is actually a specialised LPG carburettor manufactured by Gas Research Australia, which does aftermarket LPG carbs. It's essentially a large single butterfly throttle body which meters gas through different circuits just like a petrol carb. This one flows about 400cfm so it's very capable.
This is what they look like (but mine will be installed in horizontal configuration, exactly where a stock FD throttle body sits, before the upper intake manifold:
This setup is a bit different from the usual mixer style LPG systems you may have seen.
