Clear tape on a red car.....to keep the power up. Will be flat acceleration without it.

This "show" was a thinly veiled trade show for high end automotive market.

Rebuilt E-types, rebuilt MGs, rebuilt 911s, high car sales, oak barns to house your collection, asset management?! , super high end traders - carbon fibre Ferrari or Noble anyone? didnt think so, and the £5 "official handbook" was adverts from front to back.

I would say 95% of people there could not have bought most of stuff there.

On the plus side I did bump into the elusive Nik/Lucky, who was feeling equally dismayed.

Yeah, it was good to see you James. And your mate. I did find it a very odd show. There were plenty of nice things to drool over, but it was a bit of a weird demographic. Far too many auction house stands, and companies who seem to operate a system where you take them the genuine original wingnut from a carburettor filter on an E-Type and then they make you a brand new bespoke E-Type to go around it. And of course, it's genuine and original because it was "restored" from an original remnant of a genuine original E-Type  All good for anyone who's happy to drop six figures on such things...

I've got some photos to pop up when I get a chance. The RX-7 was bloody lovely, mind [/bias]
