How's their road noise and treadwear? I'm considering these toyo tires also since I'm planning to take my car on the track.MelloYello wrote:Toyo R888 - very grippy, even in the wet if your not stupid.

Road noise is not an issue for me, as there are so many other noises I am producing.decster wrote:How's their road noise and treadwear? I'm considering these toyo tires also since I'm planning to take my car on the track.
Tyre wear is high. the T1R is supposed to wear more favourably whilst still giving good grip.

I suggest rolling the arches and going down to a 195/45/16 on 16x8 et10
I'm currently running 195/45/15. 8j et10 is ideal for flush fit.
BUT is your car an S3 or S1/2. Makes a big difference

I believe GT_James accidentally ordered some in that size once?
Front arches are mega easy to roll and pull! Being single skin and all. They'll pull out quite far too. Rears are quite difficult to pull

on a series 3 with 114.3 brakes no chance with rolled arches, you'll need flares.8j et25 is flush, or mm outside the arch, I run 195/45 and rolled arches with 25 offset.

I don't think it's mint at all, the pictures must be making it look a bit prettier![]()
so shiny bits came.
They poke way more than I expected![]()
My dad was uttering Carlos Fandango at me haha.
I'll either have to pull the arches or get different wheels in different offsets.
