So iv got the updated file which is much more realistic than the previous version.
I’m going to send all the files to Ian and he will host them for people to download
In the meantime Tim has kindly sent me some images of his original Elford window sticker , which I’m also getting recreated.
Il ask Ian to host the file for that also when it’s completed
Cheers

So this endeavour was a bit moot as Adam (the legend) had an old Elford badge laying around and kindly sent it to me (Thank you kind sir!).
I cleaned and polished the life out of the brass and then had them re-chromed
Iv just finished masking the badge so I could paint the edges and gaps black.
So having them scanned with the intention of getting them cast was a bit pointless .. but at least everyone will have a 3d file that they can get re-created if need be going forward!
This is the final product.. they look damn good! Il leave them for a few days to allow the black paint to fully harden. Iv backed them with 3M high bond tape already .. will upload another pic when they’re placed
Cheers chaps

The black paint was rock hard today, so I got the badges on.
Pretty happy with the result

.. thanks again to Ian for providing me with the Turbo badge.. Adam for providing me with the Elford badge.. and Kev for letting me borrow his badge to be scanned
Shame the weather is pants otherwise I’d be taking her out for a drive!
Cheers
