I had xenon bulbs fiited but I hated them, they were useless so I've gone back to halogens

Ok, just xenon bulbs with standard fitting for the halogen?

Don't know if I've seen that before..

Why did you hate them?

yeah, they were just the bulbs that were filled with xenon gas rather than halogen in the standard headlamp unit. The light was just dull so I changed back to halogens.

Try Osram NightBreakers - ebay is your best bet, great bulbs :)

Can I ask why you sold this car. Looks, power, dedicated work and effort......I thought this would have been a keeper!

I was given a series 3 to restore..... I hadn't got the space for both cars and took the decision to sell the Elford on and restore the silver car...... I ended up getting my fingers burnt with that silver car and with hindsight, I made the wrong call but hey.... worse things have happened in life. I still have a fully built up Elford Turbo engine ready to go so that will be hitting the road as soon as I find a worthy recipient.
I'm consoled by the fact that my black Elford went to Adam and his dad, two proper rotorheads who will enjoy it and develop it further.
I love the black 1st gens, it's by far my favourite colour but my next car will be bought purely on the condition of the body, nothing else.

You ever checked this Xenon Kit Ian? Sounds interesting. I will clear it with the german TÜV for streetlegal fitting next year. Headlamp washsystem is one of the requirement i know

No Thomas,
I don't really use the car at night so I've never bothered upgrading the headlights
