This is much more like it...
Series 2 on ebay....
sellers description:
For sale is my Mazda RX7 1981 Series 2. Selling as I purchased with my heart rather than my head and now realise that with a young family it's just not going to get the use it should, (I'm not getting much spare time) and it's not very practical for child seats in the rear, (well I can't as there's no rear seat belts). The car has done just over 35,000 miles from new which is backed up with about 8 old MOT certificates, (not much mileage between tests) and the condition of the car reflects this.
MOT 1993 - 30,692
MOT 2005 - 32,051
MOT 2007 - 32,699
MOT 2008 - 33,027
MOT 2009 - 33,187
MOT 2010 - 33,284
MOT 2011 - 33,406
MOT 2012 - 34,945
The car has been garaged since I have owned it and starts first time every time. The previous owner fitted an uprated fan and had an alarm fitted not that I've used it. There is no rust on any of the wheel arches and the only signs showing are a small bit on the corner of the drivers door and in the same spot on the sunroof. I was informed by the MOT tester in May that underneath the car is very solid with only very slight signs of corrosion coming. The car has never been treated underneath, something I planned to do but never got around to doing.
There are a couple of niggles with the car:
1. The drivers door lock will not open from the outside, (you have to open the passenger door and lean across to open from inside);
2. There is a slight judder when you take your foot off the gas and decelerate. I've been informed it could be the clutch release bearing, nothing major and does not affect the drive;
3. The car has cut out twice before, once you wait about 10 seconds it fires back up again and is fine. Possible fuel feed problem but like I said only happened twice before.
On the positives it's in great condition for car thats 31 years old, electric mirror, windows and aerial all work as they should and the interior is near to mint all apart from a small piece that has worn just below the window where someone has used it as an arm rest, (shown in pic). It has four near to new tyres, MOT till May 2013 and TAX till Nov 2012.
I will be very sorry to see this car go as I had become very attached to it as had my son.
Strictly cash on collection. It is advertised elsewhere so reserve the right to withdraw at anytime

i really love white fb's, they look so flashy and expensive in the white.
can someone tell me, the red s2 that is listed in a few posts above, did they come with a black steering wheel, gear knob and door handles?
just wondering as i see the white fb with red interior has a red steering wheel, brown gear knob and red door handles.
