for a collector £10k is probably right for the condition and miles of the car..
I guess if it was more around the £5k mark it would get someones attention and be snapped up..
As for a missfire it could be anything from eletrical wiring fault, ignitor issues, spark lead or fouled plugs could be a number of things..

series 3 being sold by a dealer in Yorkshire......
sellers description:
HERE WE HAVE AN ULTRA RARE MAZDA RX7 12A, UNTIL RECENTLY ITS SPENT ALL ITS LIFE IN PERTH, LOTS OF PAPERWORK WITH THE CAR, CONFIRMING THIS. A TOTALLY UNABUSED STANDARD CAR APART FROM THE OBLIGATORY FULL JANSPEED EXTRACTOR EXHAUST CONVERSION FROM THE 80S, SOUNDS SUPERB.
STILL HAS ITS ORIGINAL CLARION TOP OF THE RANGE STEREO WITH HIGH POWER AMPS AND CLARION SPEAKERS. INSIDE THE CAR IS JUST LIKE NEW WITH NO WEAR OR DAMAGE ANYWHERE, THE DOOR CATCHES STILL HAVE THEIR "NEW" GREEN TINGE TO THEM. THE CAR HAS JUST BE RE WAXOYLED THROUGHOUT, AND A THOUROUGH SERVICE, ALL THE GLASS ON THE CAR IS UNSCRATCHED, BOTH ORIGINAL KEYS ARE PRESENT AND EVEN THE FACTORY KEY HOLE ILLUMINATION STILL WORKS ON THE DOOR. ALL THE USUAL PROBLEMS ON OLD CLASSIC CARS LIKE THE DOOR SEALS ETC PERISHING ARE NOT A PROBLEM ON THIS RX7. AS YOU WOULD EXPECT WITH ONLY THIS MILEAGE , THE CAR DRIVES WELL WITH NO KNOCKS OR CLUNKS AND OIL PRESSURE IS SUPERB. COMES WITH A FULL CLEAR HPI PRINTOUT.
A SURE USEABLE INVESTMENT, A FAR BETTER CHOICE THAN LEAVING YOUR MONEY IN THE BANK ,WHERE YOU GET NOTHING FOR IT .. INVEST IN SOMETHING YOU CAN BE PROUD OF AND AND CANT ENJOY IT!.
I CAN ARRANGE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT IF REQUIRED.. NATIONWIDE DELIVERY CAN BE ARRANGED.

Remember the Silver 'D' plate went up country to York? Price went similarly up country during the move.
Remember the Blue 'B' plate that was slightly out of kilter on the wing colour? Again resale price went out of kilter as it moved north to York.
Well this one's just left sunny Scotland.........No the price didn't drop on it's way to York.
This guy should be our agent.....He does seem able to shift 'em. How's he doing it in this climate?.....
