What's the odds on any two 1st gens on ebay both having same Reg letters? (In this case the only two and both S2's which increases the odds massively, but lets not cover that avenue).
Answer....... About 20 x20x20x20 for any 2 cars S1, S2, or S3's? AAA, AAB, AAC is one lot of 20. Then BAA, BAB, BAC is the second. CAA, CAB, CAC is the third and so on to twenty lots?
If I'm right the odds on any two 1st gens having identical letters is 160,000 : 1
Tell you what, the lottery is 13,000,000 or so :1 Thus the odds on the two 1st gens is 80 times better than the lottery. That's why I don't do it!

That's the one that was built by James McCarthy for a customer who then decided to try and sell it for some stupendous and frankly difficult to belive sum a few months back. Not a terrible job on McCarthy's part, he's got some undeniable skillz, but certainly not a restoration
