Don't know anything about the car on the left but the other one, HCK527W, I've known for the last 15 years and it's a complete basket case.

'sold' for £300 but now relisted...........

Sold for £290 this time wonder if they will reapppear again...........

I have these two now and going to use them on mine to hopefully build a good one out of the 3 lol. Not had much chance to get stuck into them yet but will update as I go along. You are right about them being basket cases so unfortunately there will be a couple scrapped most likely, as there really isn't anything to save after I've finished. I didn't buy but infact had them given to me to help with my project at no cost to me. Bonus! Not by Hayward I might add!

that's a good score Simon, I was only talking about these last night with a mate who would have bought them if he'd had the space.
As we've said many times, anything is restorable..... depending on how much money you're prepared to throw at it but HCK 527W would need a total strip and a complete rebuild.... you'd need to be extremely dedicated and have lots disposable cash to take that on as a rebuild......
But as parts cars, and for free........ result!! Nice one.

Cheers Ian. You're right, a bottomless pit of money will restore anything but I most definately do not have endless supplies of money or time. So this is the best option to fix my car. I shall take what I can and use good metal on my car etc as I have already totally stripped it. Here's hoping I can get back on track and finished soon hey.

Hi Simon, a couple of things to help with my register if you would be good enough.
I never did get the registration of the 2nd red car with no plate, so if you could help me there that would be great.
And secondly, if and when you scrap either of them can you let me know as they're both listed as 'SORN/Possible Runners' at the moment.
I will then know to move them to 'Scrapped' File.
Thanks in anticipation......Dave

Doesn't match anything by description/location Ian. I thought it might be the Wilts Omega conversion car but not with that description as 'original'.

No problem Dave, I am hoping to get my hands on them this weekend so will get what info I can for you and let you know whats happening with them. The one without a number plate is in a really bad condition I think and will be unsavable I imagine.
