I love the paint work, but I'm going to put it out there - not sure on the wheels now..?

I cant quite visualise it, but some lighter wheels would look great against the moody body colour - got any friends good a photoshop that could stick some other wheels on it and see?

Top work though! W(p

I think a simple white rim-tape stripe would separate the wheels from the similar body colour but not upset the colourscheme. You can get pre-shaped pre-curved sections of stripes from bike styling suppliers on eBay and stuff for a few quid

Quick and dirty photoshop to show wot I means

Thanks for the comments guys - I was pretty pleased with how it came out. Up close there are loads of bits of dirt and a few niggly bits, but once you get a few feet away it looks ok :)

Mad Max inspired...I always wanted one of them V8 interceptors 8-) - even when I was running around on my Kawasaki Z650, based on the same film

I know what you mean with the wheels...to be honest, I've never been a great fan of black wheels, as I usually like the contrast between the wheel and the tyre...but Karissa wanted them to be black in the first place, and I knew I'd want them dark with the new body colour. Maybe next year I'll get them stripped and powdercoated, but funds are tight this year, so a few cans of satin black had to do.

In reality there is more difference between the wheels and the paint, I guess the camera doesn't really capture it too well...you'll see it at Retro Rides :)
