sure you can always get his team to fit the engine?
I think the white car in his photo is an s1 under that bodykit but the car he's actually selling is probably the silver s3 in the photos above.

Put me down as new owner of this fella.

Sad to say but she's not going to make it - last tax disc is 2001 and only 50k on the clock!

Using her for her rear end to build LSD and bushes for the arms etc and do the straight swap so no down time. Plus the interior is rather good condition so will swap bits with mine where it's not so good.

Excuse the last minute poor pics. But she is toasted in the front end.

I remember that one... messaged the guy a few times trying to get interior bits and the rear spoiler but never heard back. Interior looked mint in the pics.

I was talking to one of the Engineers at work today and be said his mate has a 2 tone blue Elford turbo in the garage which he's had for years apparently. I asked if it had "pepper pots" and he knew all about it so seems promising.
Any Elford's known to be in Wiltshire?
I'm trying to get a pic of it.

Sorry TOOL, missed this question.....Not that I know of in Wilts itself.
It would be great if we can find a car tucked away somewhere.

Description:

Regrettable sale of my much loved RX7 but i have too many cars. It is a 1981 Generation 1 Series 2 car that is believed to have covered just 34,000 miles from new. It is finished in Renaissance Red with a very retro Red cloth interior with beige stripes. The RX7 was built when the Japs were really at the top of their game, the RX7 was a real quality car with electrical every thing from mirrors, aerial, to boot and fuel release, pop up head lights with wash system etc. The RX7 gave credibility to the much underrated Rotary engine. YOI as it is affectionately known has no rust on the body, the interior to is in excellent original condition and even has its original Radio (fm has packed up) the only blemish being the drives door cap shown in the pictures. The alloys and tyres are in excellent order with no curbing polish up to like new. Both steel roof and glass roof are included in the sale. When i bought YOI i beleive it had been sitting for some time as a few problems have reared their head, i had to replace the brake master cylinder, but there is a slight judder from initial drive which be either transmission mount or an old clutch plate although it does change gear perfectly with no noises or crunches, once on the move it is silky smooth with no issues. The fan belt slips above 3000rpm which i have been told is the viscous coupling fan going bad and i should replace with a kenlowe fan thus releasing a few more horses and give way to that glorious Rotary sound. YOI also has a habit of cutting out like it has run out of fuel but it hasn't, i beleive there to be debris in the tank and so needs a flush. Having said all this i do use this car everyday so the problems are not drastic they just would enhance the driving experience.

.
This is now living in West London, and is having the front suspension overhauled - highly likely that this is going to be heading back to the South Island of NZ when the owner eventually returns home.

He is on the hunt for a red door card if there are any about...
