Sorry Keith my first journey will take the other direction visiting the brother of my wife in Austria-Hungary.
Gernot (Mister Kane) making also coffee time on my route so we can interchange some parts fuel flap rubber stop, oil level sensor .......
Gernot here are some picture what else you can do to mod your nikki. 1mm primary jet seams a good joice.
Thomas
Here are the pics of the bigger fuel screw and float valve.

Hey Thomas,
thanks a lot for the pictures! Well, I will try to widen these screws (there are several lying around in my garage). Do you think, my Nikki needs more fuel than it can get through the stock screws? Shouldn't I be afraid of overflooding?
Thanks alot for your tipps concerning the exhaust. So I'll try to get another back box for now (the long primaries exhaust system from RacingBeat is still a dream to me, but too expensive for my budget now :| )
Cheers

The bigger screw will ensure there's no restriction in getting fuel to the needles and seats and won't alter the carb performance in any way. It will help to prevent any starvation though.
The needles and seats will be the limiting factor as I understand it.

Thank you Rob. All the years my opinion was not only restore the parts, try to make them better.
My nikki stage II carb is working very powerfull with 22mm primary venturi. Stage III nikki with 25,4 mm primary venturi is on work now. Some inspiration Picture:
