I take the met offices forecasts with a pinch of salt, they couldn't predict that night follows day, hence the BBC weather presenters these days always adding the caveat "at this point, we are unsure" or "things may change" or " at the moment, this is what we think may happen".
They're suppose to be forecasting the bloody weather, not guessing what it's going to do..... I can do that myself.
How can it be that with all their computer models and millions of pounds of taxpayers money they haven't got a clue yet some old boy armed with a barometer and a measuring dish in his back garden can get it spot on?
For this Sunday though, quite a few other other weather forecast sources are predicting heavy rain ( probably where the Met office got the tip from

) so we'll have to wait and see.
Hopefully it'll brighten up and tomorrow will see the worst of it.
