Think I've been putting my updates in wrong place as be clicking on reply rather than new topics hey ho been doing another of prepping stuff I'm painting myself such as window rails seat reclining mechanisms handbrake ashtray and other bits and bobs refurbished headlight motors and painted and beadblasted myself being very careful to mask up Key barrells rear boot rollers came up nice bought autoglym black dye to black some of the interior plastics seats booked into upholsterers in December so hope 2 have her complete by March 25 bit worried bodywork will mess up my cunning plan but am making sure I do something every day

Hi all
Decided to tackle the front suspension next.Much like the rest of this car it needs a complete overhaul so a complete strip.down and off 2 the powdercoaters meanwhile cracking on with all the other bits and bobs πŸ˜† 🀣 πŸ˜‚

Tonight's fun is I made some chrome reflectors from.a.chrome numberplate I bought on ebay forΒ£8 should do the job and I've made a couple.of spares for my black series 3 which is next on my list.As I sort out my blue Elford series 2 parts I'm sorting bits for that one as well 2 give me a head start on it when the time comes

Hi all been cracking on suspension dismantled.All parts at the powdercoaters now and a few other bits such as windscreen wiper assembly.More bolts and brackets being electroplated. Picked up rad and fuel tank today. Very pleased with themπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
