Hi Marc
I have to say I think your car looks great, those that know me on here know that I like totally original cars, but yours in my eyes has to be the exception.
Great work.

Do those headlights have angel eye rings built into them? :?

Wow, thanks guys, some high praise indeed!

Yep Nik, the angel eyes are built in...I ummed and arrred about whether to wire them up, but I hate having things that don't work...and I can have the sidelights on without them being up, with the headlights on I don't think you'd notice them. They are iridium coated, so they look all bluey and yellowy, and kinda cool. The only down side, is the light output seems a bit yellow, but I've not tried them on the road yet, so I won't pass judgement until I have.

I got them from ebay ages ago mate, I've looked on his page and he doesn't have any more, but I'll keep you posted if you like :)

Like I said in the e-mail, I'd need a better image, all the pics are taken at an angle, they do it deliberately so they can't be copied. If you can get a pic square on, we can copy it and make them :)

After a very busy winter, and a few delays from house moves, weddings etc... some more rust removal work on Vyv has started :D

Bad news is the rear valance is pretty rotten...good news is, Garath is making a one-off valance, to better suit the sideskirts. I'll post some pics up later if I can.

More bad news is there are a few bubbles further up the arch than the skirts cover, and that, added to the new rear valance, means ripping off the grey rubber and repainting the back end...and as I have a few bits I'm not happy with up front, I'll end up painting the whole car. It'll be the rubbery stuff again, but I might go for a colour change...maybe something a bit more...well, blue :?

Thanks to Ian, I have some calipers to rebuild, so my rear brakes will be a lot better than they were...and I might finally get some poly bushes under there too, although if work carries on at the rate it is now I'll be lucky to get any time on it at all, poor old Vyv has to sit and watch me spend hours and hours on all sorts of other cars, and never gets any love

Will pop down and see you when TWiR is back on the road. I have a few questions about the rubber atuff and how it may be applied to stategic sections of TWiR's exterior.
