Is there a link to the actual ad anywhere, or did I miss it?

As always with such cars, you have to marvel at the amount of work it must have taken just to make the car look so hideous. It probably would have been slightly easier to make it awesome

At a guess....this was made by the same guy who did the Green one that was for sale a while back (Lime Green, white engine bay and Green Tartan interior....AHHHHH). Same (FUGLY) style, same trailer rear lights and the same horrible result!

Also, barn find should be change to bottom of the pond find! Someone buy a gun and put this poor RX7 out of its misery.

series 3 project car on ebay ...... £2500  big money for a project with no mot

sellers description:

mazda rx7 series 1 stunning condition factory black barn find

I would like to say that im a bit of a expert when it comes to these as I have restored two and one that did was same year as this about 10 years ago and I did it shell up rebuild so I know the rx7 inside out.

right this car!

this is a last of the line 1986 series 3 mk1 factory black completely standard with factory windows , roof which lifts out .correct wheels, engine, and trim .

the only thing that most of us do is sort the exhaust out and this has been done with a straight through pipe .

its been off road a few years dry stored and kept well as far as rust goes its survived! the body is amazing very little rust a few marks for its age but other wise very clean .sills, floor, chassis, and arches perfect for age there is surface rust as expected on the underside

the cars been pulled out of storage fresh fuel and ive tested all functions the head lights work, and washers to them, lights etc blower wipers etc.

the interior is really clean and the cloth no rips some slight wear marks and the carpets a bit dirty but ive cleaned the interior with shampoo and it wants really the seats out to get to carpet properly .

the tailgate shocks have gone or maybe only one hence stick, common issue with these, you have wheel, brace, jack, lock nut for wheels, and not forgetting the rear blind all there, electric fuel cap,and boot release working fine, four perfect tyres and wheels good too

it starts well but due to standing I advise what it needs is... brake service the callipers need freeing back a few times and the pads cleaning ,also service engine new plugs and maybe leads, and general oil lubricant of moving parts as I did notice choke does not come out that far but it starts . I don't know what it will need for mot as not tested but looking over it not a lot but I can only see limited areas .

mechanically its good does not smoke at high revs its very quiet and smooth

as far as history ive got v5, manuals and keys from looking at the car last owner since 1999

please remember this cars 28 years old expect some wear and tear and it was looked after , im happy to help with delivery please ask for a price

don't see many know and very collectable sports coupe , please if you win the car a 100 paypal other wise bank transfer to hold car or if you need special terms please let me know before you bid.

I take great pride in my classics I expect the same see my other cars and my feedback says it all not many left like this and once you have a mot and polish its perfect for shows

Now this is more like it, same price but a very nice looking example with a full mot...

Sellers description:

Mazda RX7 Sports coupe in very good unrestored condition. These cars in good condition are becoming increasingly rare. This car has only covered 66636 miles since new and has a full service history. The car was laid up,unused for several years before recommissioning in 2011 when new rotor tips were fitted..
Drives extremely well for a car 28 years old. The car benefits from a steel flip up or remove sun roof, flip up head lights, alloy wheels, electric windows, fully adjustable seats with recline, disc brakes at front, rev counter, oil pressure and temperature gauges which all work. New front tyres fitted.. New radio/C.D. player installed last year. ( The original radio is available but does not work).

I am selling this much loved car as at 70 years old I cannot continue to enjoy driving it to its full potential.
