I've been looking into restoring my faded OEM ones (along with all the switches). They factory ones were originally screen-printed. I asked a signwriter I know who does custom automotive decals and he reckons vinyl stickers "wouldn't look good". I assume he was talking about a white on black background job.

Any tips appreciated!

I have a vinyl cutter linked to the pc, so I put the images in, it cuts the vinyl, and I stick it on
They are a tad large, but any smaller and they lose definition (becomes too small to cut accurately) and would probably come off quite easily. They look ok though, and I can see them with my dodgy eyesight :D

Dave, yes, these are Mk1 MX5 stalks, they're a direct fit, just swap them over into your switchgear ;)

Thanks bud :)

I was considering doing it again this year, maybe a blue, but not sure I'll have the time. I really want to get my Porsche on the road this year, and I've just bought a new commute, which is bound to need my attention too :?

Yeah, I bet they get a bit hot if parked in the sunshine too. got to admit, I hadn't thought of that...
